Sake cups with a meticulously rendered design in maki-e lacquer of an imaginary universe in which tiny creatures swarm and play. The adorable little creatures are rendered with gold powder, while the rainbow is depicted with gold powder and blue and red lacquer. The interior of the Little Dragon cup is finished with tin powder and the Colony cup with gold powder.
